TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR
We will be exhibiting at the TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR again this year. This year's CYRO will be held over four days with the theme of "Festival." The exhibition will take place during Week 1, from Thursday, December 11th to Sunday, December 14th.

Misa Asanuma
Born in 1994.
2020 Graduated from the Graduate School of Contemporary Art at the Estonian National University of the Arts (MFA)
I think about how I and other people see the world through observation.
His work uses photography, ceramics, bookmaking, drawing, and more.
Misa Asanuma, who is being heavily promoted at CYRO, will be at the booth on the day with her sold-out collection of works.

Rizo Leong of Pangrok Sulap
They are members of the Malaysian Sabah-based collective "Pangrok Sulap," which uses woodblock prints to visualize the issues faced by local communities and indigenous peoples, demonstrating the power of art to move society. Their work combines a spirit of resistance with a sense of being rooted in the land, eliciting a powerful sense of vitality in viewers. Rizzo's work, in particular, is particularly appealing for its combination of "strength and warmth."

Alba Yruela
Born in 1989, she grew up in Empordà, Spain, where she developed a deep love for nature. She captures familiar landscapes and people with an intimate, sensitive, yet somehow frank perspective. Her work spans a variety of media, including portraits, still lifes, fashion, and video. A special edition of her work will be unveiled on the day of the TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR.

In addition, two new works will be exhibited at the TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR venue.
Alba Yruela / Cherry Blossom, Don’t Cry. 桜花笑春風
This is a special edition based on the series Cherry Blossom, Don't Cry., which Alba Yuruela created during her stay in Japan in 2023. The phrase "Cherry Blossoms Smile in the Spring Breeze" comes from the famous poem "Peach Blossoms Smile in the Spring Breeze" by Tang Dynasty poet Cui Hu, in his famous poem "Peach Blossoms Faced with Human Faces." "Even when the world changes, flowers continue to bloom the same way," "No matter how difficult the situation, spring will surely come"—the meaning of these lines resonates deeply with Yuruela's "Cherry Blossom, Don't Cry."
By borrowing this feeling and replacing it with cherry blossoms, a symbol of spring in Japan, a new expression was born: "Sakura Blossoms Smiling in the Spring Breeze."
