Yann Linsart / UAP a journey

A remarkable book by Yann Linsart, founder of PALAIS Books, "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena" is an iconographic journey drawn from declassified archives of the US government's investigations of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP/PAN) from 1947 to 1969. Derived from military and government research projects (Sign, Grudge, Blue Book), these materials emerge as visual and contextual documents that mark the formation of the UFO imagination.

These images possess two contradictory qualities: they serve as traces of elusive phenomena, and as vehicles for stories that transcend our comprehension. The strangeness of this world, the existence of which we may not yet be able to grasp, is imprinted within the materiality of photography.
