Prix Camera Clara 2012-2022
  • Prix Camera Clara 2012-2022

International photo award "Prix Camera Clara" for large format photography. This book, which was produced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of this award, contains the works of 11 photographers who have received awards so far.

"Prix Camera Clara" was started by Joséphine de Bodinat-Moreno in 2012, and from 2012 to 2022 Audrey Bazin served as art director, and every year Awards have been given to outstanding works of unpublished photographic work by contemporary artists.

This book, which deals with one of the hallmarks of large-format photography, ``excellent image quality,'' allows readers to immerse themselves deeply in the material of photography. In the digital age, characterized by the sheer volume of images and the instantness of their appearance and transmission, awarding the very special technology of large format cameras is by no means a return to the past, but rather a tribute to large format cameras. It comes from the belief that a particular way of expression gives contemporary artists a unique means of expression. The visual and psychological realms explored by artists are vast and varied, but always arise from reflecting and understanding our world, or rather its reality, either directly or through allegory and transformation. Masu. Each photographic work is accompanied by a critique in order to understand its essence, such as the photographer's approach, the expression of the photograph, and its place in the history of photography.
