"I have so many new pics of Asri that I can't help but think about making a photo book or something about her. But whenever the thought pops up, immediately this is the most boring subject in the world. It's like, a male photographer taking pictures of a woman... Yes, we're dating and it's as perfect a relationship as you can imagine. We're doing our best for each other (I'm not complaining about this!) But who wants to hear that And now I'm trying to get buy-in? I'm just really curious and want to take it out and make something, but I don't know what to do now, but I'm sure I'll do it eventually... ."

A collection of works by German-based photographer Josh Kern. The author wrote down the above sentence about a year before releasing this collection of works. An artist who has captured his life in photographs. He never stopped expressing himself through portraits, daily life, and subjects of the people around him. And, even though I was hesitating, I started working on this work, and this was also essential.
 
The artist's characteristic approach to photography is like a diary and very intimate. In this collection of works, I focused on capturing my muse on film, and also separated myself from the digital world and repeated the work with my own hands. I dyed, bleached, drew, and collaged the photos to be printed, and then spliced them together like a scrapbook. The result was hundreds of photographs and a 154-page tribute to youth love, Hallo Aslı.
