 "An ocean in the between the waves" combines 35mm photographs from Gert Motmans' series of the same name with collages made over the past few years depicting nature in all its different forms and shapes. The images invite us to walk, wander, get lost or even disappear into them... They express a desire for another world, seeming to yearn for the familiar and nostalgic while at the same time holding threatening and futuristic visions.
 Nature...forever creates new forms. What is there is something that has never been there before. What was there before will never be there again. Everything is new, and yet always the same.
