A boutique that was once run by my grandmother. My grandchild Marie and sister Lucy were lined up there wearing clothes... A collection of portraits of family love and fashion that transcend generations.

A collection of works by Ewa Kluczenko, a stylist active mainly in France, and German photographer Patrick Bienert. This book captures sisters Marie and Lucy wearing clothes that were lined up at Geneviève G, a boutique in Aix-en-Provence, France that was once run by their grandmother. It is a record of the forgotten archives of a boutique that has existed for many years, but it also shows the sensibilities of two sisters enjoying fashion. It embodies things that have been passed down through generations, as well as the bonds and love between family and sisters.

“I was so fascinated by the history of this long-standing store, and I really wanted to make a documentary about it. They opened the door to us. The house their grandfather built on a hill surrounded by fields is not just a place of forgotten archives; It has also been the place of many fun summers, Christmases and gatherings we have had together. There was such a beautiful sense of family togetherness in this shoot and we had an incredible time which made the photos so intimate. This intimacy is special and difficult to express in words...”_Ewa Kluczenko

"I like honest photos and natural events. They were really open and there was a lot of trust. You can only get that by getting to know the person well and allowing them into their space. The photo showed an intimacy that you wouldn't otherwise have. That was wonderful."_Patrick Bienert
