Elise Toïdé / THE DREAM LIFE OF ANGELS

A zine by France-based photographer Elise Toïdé.

Shot in Paris and its suburbs, the series follows four women (Gabrielle, Ari, Dana, and Cat) as Toyde transforms their everyday environments into "cinematic settings where intimacy and dreams intersect."

Quiet hope lies amidst melancholy, and these photographs, which seem to flicker and drift in the summer sunlight, are an emotional collection of works that, under the direction of WATARU KOMACHI, give rise to new perspectives... For Toide, adolescence is "a time of transformation when everything is still possible," and through this work he hopes to leave viewers with "a floating feeling that evokes their own youth, a mixture of hope, loneliness, and fragile beauty."

A book that stands out for its dazzling beauty.

The expressions of the girls Elise captures are quiet yet natural and positive, captivating the viewer.
