ALL OF THE WORLD / lull [CD]
ALL OF THE WORLD's new work "lull" does not make you feel the time of 13 years.
Indie dance, all 8 songs of dense dance music without discarded songs
The legendary instrumental band, who influenced Sakanaction Ichiro Yamaguchi and whose out-of-print albums have exceeded 20,000 yen on Amazon marketplace, suddenly released a new album for the first time in 13 years!
The 3rd album for the first time in 13 years by the legendary band that played a part in the early post-rock/instrumental band boom. It was priced at an exorbitant premium on the second-hand market, and after the 1st masterpiece, known only to those in the know, and the 2nd, whose love for the dance floor reverberates sweetly, it has become a long-awaited release. Starting with the unexpected preceding song #1 reminiscent of 90s shoegaze/indie dance, while keeping the approach to dance music at its core, the original sense of balance with a dry sense of distance and a friendly melody line is still alive. It foreshadows an update to the hopeful world that will come after the pandemic.
Masahiro Araki (Kaho Nakamura BAND/Remi-gai) is in charge of mixing. The heavy mastering was done by Stefan Betke, an artisan of Berlin Dub, also known as Pole.
